Candace Carson-Hoffmann

I was born and raised in Rochester, New York where my family still lives. I began studying cosmetology in 1986 at the age of sixteen. Having a passion for travel, cosmetology gave me a chance to connect with interesting people from all around. After graduation, and a year of extensive training in New York, I moved to Colorado where I had the good fortune to work with some of the best stylists in the Colorado front range. I studied the art of “hair design” collaborating on hair and fashion shows, wedding shows, and designing hair and make-up for photo shoots.

Traveling, I crafted hair in Florida, California, and Maine. In 1996, I happily settled in beautiful Burlington, Vermont with my husband Eric Hoffmann. Happy to be back in the East, in such a beautiful and creative setting, we settled in, and soon after our daughter, River was born. After working with Jennifer Goslovich for several years we joined forces and Moon Studio was born in 2000. Our original little 94 square foot hair salon grew way beyond its walls, and a 2000 square foot Moon Studio Day Spa was born in early 2003. Two short years later we welcomed our son, Carson to the Hoffmann family.

I am so pleased to be a part of such an amazing and creative partnership. My hope is that we continue to bring the best of our industry to Shelburne, Vermont and continue to grow and improve what we bring to this world.
